Salt City Market is one of the food courts & halls listed in Syracuse, New York. The business is registered at 484 S Salina St, Syracuse, NY 13202; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. These businesses tend to have short hours built around lunch and early dinner rather than late-night service, so checking the listed hours before heading out in Syracuse saves a wasted trip. Seating is often limited or first-come, and many locations lean toward takeout or delivery rather than dining in. Prices are generally lower than full-service restaurants in the same category, which makes this group a reliable option for a fast, inexpensive meal across New York. Portions can be smaller at food-court counters than at a stand-alone restaurant, so ordering two items is common for a full meal. Many of these businesses are independently owned even inside a shared food hall, so hours, accepted payment methods and whether a counter takes online orders can differ from stall to stall within the same building.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–9 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. Its website is saltcitymarket.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 1,200 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded food courts & halls in Syracuse.

Syracuse is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Syracuse is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I recently hosted an event for about 30 people in the community room at Salt City Market, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly easy to work with, making the planning process and event logistics smooth and straightforward. We used several of the market vendors for catering, which was a huge success, attendees loved both the food and the vibrant atmosphere. A standout bonus was the bar at the end of the market, which added a unique touch that you don’t often get with event spaces, and it was definitely appreciated by our group. The community room itself is spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with up-to-date AV, including a pull-down screen and easy sound connectivity. The tables on wheels made it simple to customize the layout, and the additional β€œliving room” space with couches created a comfortable, natural environment for networking. Overall, this is an excellent venue for hosting events. I highly recommend both the market staff and vendors for a seamless, well-executed experience.

Lots of variety to choose from at this unique food market. The open concept sitting area (first come, no reservations) allows customers to easily walk through and pick out their best food option. Practically anything you want is available along with the opportunity to try new flavors and ingredients. My favorite for this visit was the chicken kabob with rice dish. The fresh hummus and bread appetizer was the most flavorful, fresh hummus I’ve ever tasted. Lots of dessert options, a coffee bar, and a regular bar that serves alcohol is also available. Make the trip to check out Salt City Market. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing. Everything about this space is truly beautiful, for it being a public community area for so many people to enjoy wonderful cuisine from different parts of the world. I’ve never felt more comfortable seeing a great environment from everyone, with great music to boot! There should be Ethiopian, Jamaican, Cali-Mex, Middle Eastern, Vietnamese, Indian and BBQ for cuisines, and a cocktail and dessert area too! This is really an amazing sense of community with great food, so implore everyone to support these vendors!!
